Follow-up Comment #1:

Looking at voronoi.m from 3.4.3, the calculation of ybox is completely
incorrect.  I think earlier versions of Octave just got lucky when presented
with only 2 data points which is under the 3 required for a 2-D plot (see bug
#40996).  Closing report.
