Well, a Java issue when building the binary installer.
It seems to be that the bits and pieces of Java JRE / JDK installation on OSX
seems to be hard to follow and change with every OS upgrade (at least that's
what one of the OSX binary maintainers wrote in the maintainers ML a while
ago).
Either way, the result is an Octave that simply has no Java support compiled
in.
