Follow-up Comment #6, bug #41215 (project octave):

Indeed having 'pkg test <package name>' would be useful.

The implementation of this feature should be synchronized with the overhaul of
"pkg.m" being carried out by JPi and Carnë.

In addition to calling __run_test_suite__ passing the correct
location of the package installation directory, this would require:

1) extract tests from .cc files and store them in he installed package

2) copy directories with fixed test scripts from the tarball to the install
location.
