This is filed based on comments from bug #41067.
The following build dependencies and descriptions are missing from the "Build
Tools" subsection of install.txi:
* GNU gperf
* GNU Texinfo
In addition, OpenJDK or Java is not mentioned at all in the "External
Packages" subsection. Should OpenJDK be listed specifically in the table item
header, or should the table say "Java Development Kit" and then recommend
OpenJDK as the free software implementation of the JDK?
There should probably also be some text in etc/HACKING that directs the user
to read doc/interpreter/install.txi for the full list of both required and
optional dependencies to build Octave from mercurial. I suggest install.txi
because it is the file that is guaranteed to be there after cloning from
mercurial.
