Ah, I was unaware that the bug reporting system did not handle email traffic.
Sorry about that!

In my case, the GUI initializes in a minimized state and cycles as follows:

minimized -> open -> minimized -> open -> minimized -> open.

The *first* time opens,  it looks different than the other two times.
Specifically, it opens in the top-left corner of the screen, it is a different
size, and the documentation window is in focus instead of the command window.
The second and third times it opens, it is in the configuration I expect it.
