Follow-up Comment #4, bug #41714 (project octave):
Sorry for the delay in responding. Work kept me away for a while.
There is no error with any graphics toolkit when I use "export
QT_ACCESSIBILITY=0" before invoking Octave. Thanks for the workaround. This
bug report can be merged with Bug #41552
