Follow-up Comment #1:
Thanks for your bug report. When you say you open the m-file, do you mean
running the script at the Octave command prompt?
I see the attached script only contains "close all; clear all;". I know very
little about Octave for Windows, but I believe there have been problems in
previous versions with "clear all" causing Octave to crash. Can you verify
that starting Octave and simply running "clear all" causes the same crash?
If upgrading is an option for you, you might want to try the latest 3.8
version of Octave for Windows, there is a binary installer you can download
and try, http://mxeoctave.osuv.de/.
