Follow-up Comment #10, bug #41777 (project octave):
no sorry, I got the minor ticks only with fltk. So on this 64 bit system I get
the same result as yours (6 ticks and labels, no minor ticks). I'd expect the
minor ticks because the proper gnuplot command is present. So there is
something weird in gnuplot
