Follow-up Comment #12, bug #32120 (project octave):

I was able to achieve correct operation by forcibly replacing the ZDOTU call
with a call to "cblas_zdotu_sub" from vecLib.

Now, I don't know the *right* way to patch this up, but at least I've narrowed
it down... I can do some work on this if someone will give me direction.
Perhaps this is just a configure error?
