It appears to me that on 3.8 and the image package 2.2.0, the bounding box at
least is correct. If you're seeing unexpected output (and I still can't tell
what's the output you consider correct), then I suspect it's more likely that
the problem lies in the image labelling of bwlabel. Note that the
implementation of bwlabel changed between the two versions that you're
testing, so the order of the labels may be different. I would need more
information from you to determine if this is the problem you're experiencing.
