Update of bug #42036 (project octave): Category: GUI => Libraries Severity: 3 - Normal => 1 - Wish Item Group: None => Feature Request Summary: Umlaut in file name or folder name not handled correctly => Files and directories with non-ASCII characters not handled correctly on Windows _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #1: This works fine for me on a Linux system with 3.8.1, so likely specific to Windows filesystems or the library functions Octave is using to work with Windows files and directories. Since you verified that the same commands in the command window do not work, this is not really a GUI issue at all. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?42036> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
