Follow-up Comment #2, bug #42079 (project octave):

Doubtful, likely only because the wilcoxon_test function is already in Octave
core, and it covers some of the same functionality.

If ranksum were added to the statistics Octave Forge package, we could
deprecate the wilcoxon_test function in core.
