Follow-up Comment #27, bug #42097 (project octave): I have blas, lapack and octave compiled for debugging. Everything looks good up until the schur factorization is computed. That is the balancing and the transformation to upper Hessenberg form all produce the same results. Things diverge after the schur factorization. I would have more info but for some reason when I reached the call for the schur factorization, I decided I should setup blas for debugging.
