Follow-up Comment #1:

Thanks for your bug report. I don't have an NFS setup to reproduce this, but
this behavior certainly seems possible. Does this bug depend on how long you
wait before attempting to execute the script in Octave? In other words, when
it runs the old version of the file, if you wait a minute or two and try again
without saving again or changing anything else, does it eventually run the new
version?
