Follow-up Comment #9, bug #42345 (project octave):


fprintf(text)
fprintf(obj,cmd) 

are documented sytax in some cases (simulink and instrument control). So it
may be useful to interpret % as literal, if there's no parameter after the
string.

What's MATLABs output for this command?

fprintf('% %d',1)
