Details:

For the function wavread, in the documentation the format for the "Read only
samples n1 through n2 from each channel." variation is not properly stated:

Currently:
    [...] = wavread (filename, n1 n2)

Should be:
    [...] = wavread (filename, [n1 n2])

Only by finding examples under Matlab was I able to work this out ...
