[Octave-bug-tracker] [bug #35511] reset (h) function doesn't work at all

Follow-up Comment #37, bug #35511 (project octave):

On Mac OS X the OpenGL toolkits no longer function (for the default branch). 
As a result, I'm weary of pushing any graphic related change sets (if there is
a problem I won't be able to debug).

Rik, do you have time to push patches for bugs #35511, #42123, and #42159?

In case it is useful, I'm also attaching a set of tests I collected from all
the bug reports.
