Follow-up Comment #1:
Thanks for your bug report. The fix was applied to the default branch, not the
stable branch, so it only applies to the work going towards the 4.2 release
target. The change is probably not suitable for the stable branch and JIT is
an experimental feature, so it will not be applied to any 3.8 releases. You
are free to cherry-pick the patch and apply it to your own 3.8.2-rc2 sources
if building with LLVM is important to you.
