Follow-up Comment #41, bug #41699 (project octave):

So does this indicate that the error is due to a dependence between the
persistent struct array and the dynamically-loaded GrahpicsMagick library?
Exiting Octave or executing "clear -f" unloads the GraphicsMagick dynamic
library, could this be taking away something or destroying something that the
persistent variable references?
