Thanks for the report, working on it.
Interestingly, the test script for ods often works fine for me.
You can try to cd to some temp directory, and then do:
io_ods_testscript ("oct")
Sometimes it gets confused and rather than zip up the ods file contents, it
zips up the entire tmp directory.
FYI It can take a while before this is fixed; summer holiday is close.
