Update of bug #42851 (project octave): Status: None => Invalid Open/Closed: Open => Closed _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #1: Thanks for your bug report. This looks like a packaging bug with the packages you have installed from the opensuse repository. You should probably report a bug to the appropriate package maintainers. Requiring liboctave.so.2 means that the odepkg was built against Octave 3.8 and that should be installed as a dependency. Doesn't seem to be a problem with Octave or the odepkg package.
