Follow-up Comment #5, bug #43400 (project octave):
Just a progress report:
The actual bug here has been fixed already in my local repo; the bug was
introduced with the fix for bug #43331.
But delving into this one uncovered some other issues that hamper more
reliable reading/writing of .xlsx.
So, it will take a little more time before I can finally push the fixes.
