Follow-up Comment #5, bug #43282 (project octave):
I forgot to mention that the function only works in the default branch of dev
version of Octave.
In order to have it work with Octave 3.8 (and gui-release branch) I could
easily tweak some parts of the code to workaround some bugs that have been
fixed in the default branch.
