Follow-up Comment #1:
Thanks for your bug report. This appears to be a bug in the GL2PS library used
to print plots from the FLTK plotting backend. Here is the same bug that has
already been reported to GL2PS and fixed upstream:

I think the only way to fix this is to wait until a new GL2PS release is made,
or build the GL2PS library yourself from upstream svn. There's not much that
Octave can do to work around this.
If you use gnuplot instead of fltk, you should get a different, and hopefully
working, tikz file.
