Follow-up Comment #1:

The issue is with libuuid in mxe-octave not allowing a dynamic link for the
new audio functions and so creating the dynamic library fails.

It shows up as a warning earlier on in the compile but ends up being a error
during install.

I have fixed uuid, and added libsndfile and portaudio to default-octave but
havent pushed the changeset yet as am waiting for it to finish compiling on my
machine.
