Follow-up Comment #2, bug #44017 (project octave):
Why do we have the --without-opengl flag anyways? Is it to support the Mac
platform? In that case there might be a usage case where people want to build
the GUI with OpenGL. If there is no really good reason then I'm fine with
saying the GUI requires OpenGL and just pointing to the CLI version of Octave
if you want no OpenGL and gnuplot for plotting.
