I have compiled for win32.
deleting libuuid.dll.a fixed the problem, but them
I have a problem with postgresql, so I decided to build mxe-octave from
scratch. But it failed on gcc-gmp-download, because it has a version change,
from 6.0.0 to 6.0.0a.
