Follow-up Comment #9, bug #43096 (project octave):

Ok, I'll post.  Put the three .m files in a dir called "@A".

This "A" class only has A.m, display.m and size.m.  

But adding methods for numel, rows and columns does not solve this.
I'll upload the more complete example with these as a tarball.
