Follow-up Comment #2, bug #44224 (project octave):
Thanks Rik, I knew about "visible".
Point is, sometimes it can be handy to select colors, including "none",
through a sort of jump table. To also include another graphics property
("visible") for specific cases leads to quite a bit of unwarranted
complexity.
The ML incompatibility still stands.
