Update of bug #38305 (project octave): Status: Patch Submitted => Confirmed _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #44: Thanks Torsten, I adapted your patch to use Octave's iprocstream and pushed it to default: http://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/be7b05f95d7c It works perfectly for me with gzip-compressed and xz-compressed info files. Leaving this bug report open for the file dialog case and the more general case of QProcess / SIGCHLD handler not working.
