Details:

I see this strange error message from Ghostscript as soon as I try to print an
figure OpenGL from the GUI (terminal or figure menu with Qt toolkit) or from
the qt-cli interface:


$ ./run-octave -f --no-gui

In pure cli ("--no-gui-libs" option) or with gnuplot this works fine. 
If confirmed I think this bug should be a blocker for the coming 4.0 release.
