[Octave-bug-tracker] [bug #44417] cannot install last image package in MXE-octave

Follow-up Comment #2, bug #44417 (project octave):

The pull and make dist was done in Linux (Ubuntu).
The pkg install was done in Windows, with version 19893:67cb2f421255.

I have tried to install two previous versions of image package.
The first (late one) has the same errors, and the previous one
could be installed but with some warnings that I did not see before:


gzip: stdout: Broken pipe
c:binrm.exe: cannot lstat `conftest*': Invalid argument
.....
c:binrm.exe: cannot remove `*.core': Invalid argument
c:binrm.exe: cannot remove `core.conftest.*': Invalid argument
.....
warning: couldn't clean up after my self: Permission denied


image-2.3.0.tar.gz that I have used attached.
