Follow-up Comment #19, bug #44415 (project octave):

Mike, Michael, and Rik all report the same thing--the white lines are present
in both FLTK and Qt and can be made to appear/disappear by changing the window
size.  I was only reacting to Dan's comment #15 in which he said that FLTK was
working.
