Follow-up Comment #14, bug #44310 (project octave):

Mike: You obviously know a lot about this.
I know lots of programming languages but C++ is not,
and never will be, one of them.

So, could you keep in mind that sometime after the 4.0 release
you will deal with this?

It does seem to me that catanh should use the glibc library,
as should other of the standard elementary functions.

Relying on the use of log is not, numerically, a good idea.
