Follow-up Comment #6, bug #44338 (project octave):

I made some tests with the MXE-Octave build of 4.0.0-rc1 and created a
DEFUN_DLD which calls gl* functions directly. This works fine but not if I
call draw on opengl_renderer.

>From this I guess that the problem lies in gl_render.cc and not in
__osmesa_print__

Can someone update the MXE page on our wiki to describe the steps needed to
build a 4.0.0-rc1 in MXE-octave with debugging symbols which also includes
gdb? I tried to add gdb to $(PKG)_DEPS and ./configure FFLAGS=-g CFLAGS=-g
CXXFLAGS=-g but apparently failed.
