Thanks for your bug report. However, I'm not sure what bug you are reporting
here. Is there a problem behavior you are seeing that is related to the close
function?
An m-file may contain more than one function, but the main callable function
must have the same name as the name of the m-file. The other functions are
private and can be called as helper functions from the main function.
I'm also not seeing more than one function in close.m in Octave 3.6.4.
And lastly, 3.6.4 is quite an old version by now, can you upgrade to a current
version of Octave and see if the problem you are experiencing has been fixed
in a newer version?
