Follow-up Comment #8, bug #44040 (project octave):
There is probably not much what we can do here. The attached patch restores
the default behavior of Scintilla, a certain scroll width right from the
beginning regardless the length of the longest line. Could you please check
whether this patch fixes the issue for you?
