Follow-up Comment #13, bug #43099 (project octave):
Sorry for a lte reply (busy week).
With "sympref display unicode" I get the garbled stuff back.
AFAIU unicode isn't supported in the Octave terminal?
But on Windows with default settings it all works fine.
Is it all just a matter of a sympref setting? if so it might be easy to tackle
this.
