Details:

Using Octave 4.0.0-rc1 from ftp://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/octave under Windows 7
64bit I have a strange problem with closing curly brackets ('}'): I can enter
them in the GUI terminal, but not in the GUI Editor, while my keyboard layout
is set to German.

Some details:
(1) It does work fine when I use US keyboard layout
(2) Using German layout, I can write an open curly bracket without problems
(using Alt+7), but trying to write the closing bracket (using Alt+0) is just
ignored. Subsequently using Alt+0 does not produce the character either.
(3) I can enter the closing curly bracket via decimal Unicode (using
Alt+0125).
(4) Pasting the char works fine as well.
(5) Because I saw some reports concerning bugs with square brackets in earlier
versions: Square brackets work fine on my system.
