Follow-up Comment #3:

This curiously looks a lot like bug #44328, segfault in Qt toolkit, which we
are only seeing on certain systems. It would be very helpful if you could
confirm that the error you're seeing is the same or related and help us find
the cause.

A few more questions:

* You see a segfault with "test clf", do you also see one with "test
graphics.cc-tst"?

* Do any of the examples I give in bug #44328 segfault for you, e.g.


hf = figure ("visible", "off"); reset (hf); close (hf);


* Can you provide a gdb backtrace of the segfault?
