Follow-up Comment #34, bug #44116 (project octave):

@Dan: I tried the patch and it applies cleanly, but a simple test of uigetfile
failed.  What is the advantage of your patch over the one already committed to
Mercurial?

Sample code:


./run-octave -f --no-gui
demo uigetfile
## Hangs here.  Need 3 Ctrl-C to abort.
