Follow-up Comment #1, bug #44928 (project octave): The usage of inputParser on the geometry package is not compatible with inputParser in octave 4.0.0 if anything the geometry package is also dependent on octave < 4.0.0 Fixing this would also means that it won't work with older Octave versions. It would also means that if an old general package is loaded it would act weird. Ideally, it would check at run-time the inputParser implementation.
