Follow-up Comment #5, bug #44916 (project octave):

Of course! I added eps output to my script with:


print -depsc -r0 f1.eps


You find f(1|2|3).eps attached. Note that the behaviour of print() is not
deterministic, first because of the irregular occuring error described in bug
#44915 and second because the appearance of the figures changes when I run the
script several times in a row. Figure 3 had the strange extra lines in the PDF
uploaded earlier, now I saw the curve with a broken line (but no extra lines)
or even a solid line (the bottom axis, however, is still missing). PDF, PNG
and EPS look the same.
