Follow-up Comment #24, bug #44485 (project octave):
Of course "....value 6" would only be valid if 'File | Exit' interrupted some
action by Octave (long calculation) or a function invoked by Octave (sleep(),
system (...) ).
SIG gives:

scalar structure containing the fields:
ABRT = 22
FPE = 8
ILL = 4
INT = 2
SEGV = 11
TERM = 15
didn't see HUP (which indeed gives reminiscences from the times of Hayes etc.
