Follow-up Comment #3, bug #45348 (project octave):
This definitely not an Octave bug. Maybe it would
be best to re-title it to include Intel HD 6000 so
that others are less likely to duplicate it.
And, anyhow, close it.
I just checked and the Intel HD 5000 graphics works
just fine. And, the assert that causes the crash was only
added very recently, so on the HD 6000 the appearance of
it working seems to have included some serious buffer
mismanagement.
