Follow-up Comment #18, bug #34523 (project octave):

When testing, please change the mesh color to something light and tell me if
it looks as though the line is erroneously appearing behind mesh lines.  In
some intersections, that looks to be the case for me.  I'll report that as a
bug...my thinking is that even though line removal is correct, the line
segments still need to be plotted from furthest back in the viewspace to the
nearest.  Otherwise, the drawing of lines will bleed over a line it may be
behind.
