@Philip: I suppose you meant bug #45540 (the one you pointed to is not an
Octave bug).
Was the release of this bug changed? Correct me if I am wrong, it was
initially reported as being observed in Octave 4.0. Did someone reproduce it
in dev? If not it shouldn't be related to bug #45540 that didn't happen in
4.0.
If the displayed image is not double (e.g. uint8) then it could be related to
bug #45372 which has been fixed
(http://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/dc74b700cdec). I think that is
why Rik asked if zooming was needed.
Can the OP attach the image that triggers the bug?
