Follow-up Comment #7, bug #45567 (project octave):

I checked in this cset
(http://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/2f9119bb3fe5) which adds the
EXTRA_DIST filse that were missing from the libgui/ and test/ directories. 
Now I can produce a tarball that unpacks and builds Octave, but the
dependencies are still messed up because documentation is still being
re-built.
