Dear Ben,

I use a modified homebrew script based on the work of Michael Grant (link
posted already). I compile without MESA (see below). 

I suggest to move the GUI discussion to the mailing list. However, before I
like to mention that I tweaked my compile settings and I can run

4.0.0 with GUI on Yosemite. Honestly, I don't know why it works since I did
not fix the main thread issue...
