Update of bug #45565 (project octave): Item Group: Incorrect Result => Matlab Compatibility Status: Works For Me => Confirmed Summary: Using imwrite to write an 8-bit iamge to BMP creates a 24 bit image => Using imwrite to write an 8-bit image to BMP creates a 24-bit image _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #17: Confirmed with Matlab that imwrite creates an uncompressed 8-bit-per-pixel BMP file when the array is of type uint8, no need to specify a colormap. Also confirmed that Matlab creates an uncompressed 1-bit-per-pixel BMP image when the array is logical. In both cases the file is an indexed image file with implicit grayscale colormaps. Updating to confirmed and Matlab compatibility. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?45565> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
